20 FROM THE BEAR

March 2028 will mark 20 years since Bear Stearns disappeared, almost as long as I worked there. Thousands of us moved on—to other firms, new careers, retirement, or entirely different lives. The firm is gone, but the culture, the people, and the lessons are not.

One of my passions is history. I am compiling a book of short personal reflections from alumni. The working title is 20 From the Bear. It is not a retelling of the collapse, nor a tell-all.

It is simply what we learned there, what we took with us and applied afterward, and who there most influenced us. I am asking for your reflections to cover roughly half to a full page.
